Opende began writing songs and performing as a hobby in the 90's with a few bands, influenced partly by global pop culture, and local ethnic trends, but remains more of a writer-composer-producer and studio artist than a live performer.

In recent years Opende djayed in trendy Nairobi and Mombasa clubs, and has now curved a niche as a studio artist skilled in the use of computer-based music creation tools. What he brings to the world of music is a time-tested, sweet blend of harmonies and melodies spiced up in modern beat, seasoned with juicy rhythms that are sure to satisfy your audio taste buds!
